We had an excellent kayaking and snorkeling trip with John! He navigated us right to a mother and baby whale and we had a magical close encounter from the kayaks. We paddled up the coast to a calm spot off a reef and got in the water from the boats there. It was the perfect spot to swim with turtles and marine life. John was a friendly, knowledgeable and fun guide. He also took amazing pictures with his underwater camera that made for great souvenirs. We would highly recommend this half day tour!

This was the third time my wife and I have done this trip. A great way to spend a few hours on the water. John Shappell was our guide on two of the trips over the years and he does a great job. John is very knowledgeable and shares a lot of good information. He does everything he can to promote safety, help you if help is needed and makes this a very enjoyable experience

Amazing adventure and great value. Was so impressed by John's thoroughness in explaining safety. It was very obvious our safety was of utmost importance. Even as someone who is very familiar with kayaking I was impressed by his tips. He had a great relaxed vibe and provided lots of great insight on what we were seeing and doing. Due to it being whale season, we were fortunate to have some wonderful sightings...and even got to listen to a whale's singing. The snorkeling with turtles was great. We couldn't have had a better weather day which was a great bonus. Highly recommend this.
