Malibu's historic Surfrider Beach was one of the first places where modern surfing culture developed.

Adamson House and Malibu Lagoon Museum

The Adamson House at Malibu Lagoon State Beach overlooks the Malibu Lagoon and Surfrider Beach. This showplace of Malibu historical artifacts is a California Historical Landmark that is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Designed by Stiles O. Clements in 1929, this Spanish Colonial Revival home contains the best surviving examples of decorative ceramic tile produced by Malibu Potteries. The home was built for Merritt Huntley Adamson and Rhoda Rindge Adamson, daughter of Frederick Hastings Rindge and May Knight Rindge—last owners of the Rancho Malibu Spanish grant.

We had an absolutely incredible time with Julia and Ken, completely exceeded our expectations! Amazing wine and very generous hospitality, brilliant knowledge of all the celeb spots etc too. Visited the most gorgeous locations, would never have found these gems without them! Couldn’t recommend highly enough, we had the best day of our trip!

Julie and Grape Adventures was great. She was a great host and treated me and my wife with total professionalism. She was informative on the locations we attended and we enjoyed the places she picked. We had a great time from the time they picked us up to the time they dropped us off. I would encourage anyone planning a wine tour to book with Grape adventures.

We had a fantastic day with Julie and Ken. It was my first time in LA and we booked this trip to enjoy the beautiful scenery outside the city. We were not disappointed. Julie and Ken make a great team together. They shared all their insight on the different locations, gave us recommendations for other activities, and their hospitality is top notch.
