Adamson House and Malibu Lagoon Museum

The Adamson House at Malibu Lagoon State Beach overlooks the Malibu Lagoon and Surfrider Beach. This showplace of Malibu historical artifacts is a California Historical Landmark that is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Designed by Stiles O. Clements in 1929, this Spanish Colonial Revival home contains the best surviving examples of decorative ceramic tile produced by Malibu Potteries. The home was built for Merritt Huntley Adamson and Rhoda Rindge Adamson, daughter of Frederick Hastings Rindge and May Knight Rindge—last owners of the Rancho Malibu Spanish grant.

Just to be clear this is not a wine tasting tour, drinks are not included but we knew this in advance. It was a fun day out , Julie was great. The 3 places we visited were very nice especially Malibu pier and the Winery up in the hills, beautiful views. Wine prices were expensive but you could choose to drink whatever you wanted. Met some fun people and a Bengal Cat called Raja. Highly recommend for something different in LA.

Julie our tour guide was very friendly, Malibu pier was very pretty, Winery up in the hills was beautiful, wine very expensive though. Met some great people and a Bengal Cat called Raja. Weather was great. Fun day out.

The best of the best - Julie is engaging and explains beautifully and knowledgeably everything she takes you to and in between. Great stops, incredible views and amazing wine stops. Lots of movie references en route and on the way to Malibu beac we drove past some famous folks homes - all pointed out by Julie. Have to say on the way back, Julie also played some great tunes!
