Manatee and Dolphin Kayaking | Haulover Canal (Titusville)

Overview
The Manatee and Dolphin kayak tour is one of our busiest kayaking trips and the #1 daytime outdoor activity in the Orlando Florida, Cocoa beach area. This location can see upward of 200+ manatee any given time so don't worry about "if" you'll see one, The question is how many will you see?! We offer you the chance to witness the Bottlenose Dolphin in the act of predation. We have a few places we frequently see dolphin preying on baitfish. It is not uncommon to witness these resident IRL Bottlenose Dolphin breech the waters surface out to their dorsal fin, LITERALLY, just feet from your S.O.T. kayak, while snapping at a Mullet in the air!! It is truly "a once in a lifetime tour" for our out of State/Country guests.

Dolphins and manatees spotted! I am very happy with the experience we had with Florida Adventurer Inc. You will be going upstream for a little way, but it is doable. The water isn't a crystal clear turquoise color, it's murky and green. You will see dolphins jump out of the water and their fins breech. You'll also see manatee noses and they come up for breath right by you, and you'll get the chance to see them float at the surface as they sun themselves. Overall it was a really neat experience. Our tour guides really made the trip though. Freedom and Charlie are top notch and I would recommend them to anyone. Both ladies were patient as we navigated our kayak skills or lack thereof. Both were knowledgeable about the area and animals. We were given time to float amongst the manatees for quite a while which was great. The area is very easy to find. The tour started promptly. There aren't any food or service stations in the immediate area so make sure you prepare water and snacks. You're going to be out in the sun, so make sure you bring a hat and sun protection. I recommend a change of clothes, you will get a bit wet when you sit in the kayak. When you arrive the truck isn't marked with the company name, however, as one of their tours ended we were kindly guided by others that had just come back in.

This was a great time. We had an out of town guest with us. It was a great way to show them the nature that surrounds us here in Florida. Aerin was our tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable and educational. She tailored the tour to what we wanted to see. We really couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thanks!
