Manatee and Dolphin Kayaking | Haulover Canal (Titusville)

Overview
The Manatee and Dolphin kayak tour is one of our busiest kayaking trips and the #1 daytime outdoor activity in the Orlando Florida, Cocoa beach area. This location can see upward of 200+ manatee any given time so don't worry about "if" you'll see one, The question is how many will you see?! We offer you the chance to witness the Bottlenose Dolphin in the act of predation. We have a few places we frequently see dolphin preying on baitfish. It is not uncommon to witness these resident IRL Bottlenose Dolphin breech the waters surface out to their dorsal fin, LITERALLY, just feet from your S.O.T. kayak, while snapping at a Mullet in the air!! It is truly "a once in a lifetime tour" for our out of State/Country guests.

Upon arriving at the kayak launch site, we were greeted by dolphins, osprey, pelicans, and friendly people from around the world! At first were slightly worried we were in the wrong place so a sign would have been reassuring. Maybe put one on the table or truck with your company name and “will return soon”. Our tour guide, Chance, was laid back, welcoming, and knowledgeable. We kayaked next to manatee and learned about the flora/fauna, including the beneficial impacts of the mangrove trees. It was amazing that we were provided with bug spray, sunscreen, and drinking water while on the trip. Small but important perks, even if you’ve come prepared! I would suggest that all guests be required to wear their provided life vests/PFDs appropriately and fastened tightly. Ya just never know when someone could go in the water and panic or hit their head. Not everyone is accustomed to being in water like that, or in a current, so thought it’s important to mention it. Will definitely recommend this trip to my friends!

Despite heavy rain and a change of location due to work on the Haulover launch this was a really good trip. We did only see one dolphin but saw the Falcon 9 on its launch pad and are given advise to visit the manatees viewing platform to see the more manatees and dolphins.

Big shout out to Chris for making our kayak trip go wonderfully! He was on time and prepared for our small group. Had tons of great information and was very friendly. All three of us enjoyed our manatee and dolphin tour through the mangroves. I would Definitely suggest anybody to do this tour. Had lots of fun! Thanks Chris! Jeremy
