What To Expect

Port of the Islands Marina

The 90 minute covered boat Tour departs from Port of the Islands Marina every 45 minutes daily 365 days per year.

Manatee Sightseeing & Wildlife Adventures

Experienced nature loving Coast Guard licensed captains to narrate the tour in a manner that resonates with children/adults of all ages. Manatees in the wild may be in the harbor area, the residential bays, or in the exciting mangrove forest. Manatees come to the boat over 90% of the time. Patrons enjoy matching birds in the trees to the provided Everglades bird Card. There is a max of 6 passengers per boat. Family groups of 7-42 will use multiple boats staying close.

We arrived for our 10am Tour, and found a beautiful boat dock, and met Captain Paul. He took us on a wonderful 90 minute adventure. We were lucky enough to see Manatees and Alligators. It was absolutely enjoyable and beautiful. I would recommend Captain Paul highly.

we had a great time on the 1.5 hour tour and saw a number of manatees. The guide is very informative, friendly, and professional. We were happy that 99-year-olf Dad also enjoyed it. While he can walk with a cane, he often takes the wheelchair. Getting him on board was not a problem. This was a family tour, but everyone was an adult.
