Swim alongside the gentle giantson our professonally guides snorkles tours. Our tours include: full 5mm wet suits, mask, snorkel, hot chocolate, coffee, water and towel service. All our tours leave from our onsite private docks, with heated changing facility and hot showers!! This is a small-group tour of 14 travelers.

This is a “must do”! And captain Ross and Dallas gave us a great experience! First- I was hesitant as the 7am departure- it was 48 degrees out! But we were toasty warm in the extra thick wetsuits only this outfit provides!! And because it was so chilly- ALL the manatees were headed for or in the springs! We must have seen at least 25 up very close! A few of the babies were bored with their moms “ resting” and swam over to greet us and even get belly rubs! Take advantage of this outfit- they were first class- we had plenty of room to Stretch out on the boat- and even got hit chocolate as we climbed in from the water! I’d book with them again for sure! Ask for Ross and Dallas! Ross took pics and video the whole time so we could enjoy Our experience without needing to bring a camera!!

I live in Crystal River (born and raised) and had never gone out on the water to solely hang with the manatees. I'm so glad I went on this tour, I had so many interactions! Please, please, PLEASE be passive when around manatees, seriously just float around and they will come to you! Lots of them are super curious and will hang on to you or just stare right in your face. Captains Libby and Memphis were very knowledgeable and kind to everyone. Libby was great in the water guiding everyone and keeping a nervous child calm. Go on an early tour if you can (getting up before the sun is worth it!) and bring a dry change of clothes and towel for after your trip. Bringing your own camera may be worth it if you want your own photos, but your guide will take some photos for you. Sometimes just having the experience is better than worrying about your camera :)

We’ve been coming to various parts of Florida for 40 years- but this was our first time in Crystal River with the manatees. We’re still smiling. 😊. Captain Steve and Captain Misty were fabulous! Knowledgeable, patient, concerned for the safety and enjoyment of their passengers- they made it a truly wonderful & unforgettable experience. Thanks to Misty we have great photos & video.
