Overview

Without question, this tour route is the most unique kayak tour in the area and offers guests with the greatest opportunity to spot bucket list wildlife while visiting the Everglades area. This tour launches from a permit only launch site within the 10,000 Islands Wildlife Refuge. This route requires proper planning and expert knowledge due to the fluctuating tides. No other company is capable or willing to take the time needed for this type of planning. Guests will start their paddle through the salt marsh, a popular feeding zone for numerous long-legged wading birds and river otters. 30 minutes in guests will notice a change in habitat, transitioning into Mangroves, indicating a change in salinity and elevation. This is where you will enter one of the best Mangrove Tunnels in the county. After numerous mangrove tunnels, creeks and ponds and hopefully tons of wildlife guests will then empty out into a manatee safe zone the Faka-union Canal. Year Round expert kayak guides included!

A perfect canoeing experience. We saw egrets, herons, ospreys, manatees… We spent more than 3 hours on the water.. very enjoyable. A perfect way to experience the Everglades!

Justin is a very good tour guide. He's knowledgeable, kind and enthusiastic. I had a good time with him. He showed us a lot of plants and animals including aligators and manatee.

First off, the communication from Adventure Paddle Tours is outstanding! They provide emails and texts to make sure you know everything to bring for your adventure, where to go and what to expect. I was very impressed. Secondly, Logan did a great job guiding us through the mangroves. We were able to see many different types of birds, blue crabs, a small shark, and even an alligator that came up near us in the bay. I would highly recommend Adventure Paddle Tours Naples.
