What To Expect

Key Largo

Mangrove Tunnel Kayak Adventure. Experience the waters off Key Largo as a local during this 3 hour tour in the mangroves off Key Largo. Kayak through crystal clear waters as we learn about the mangroves and their importance to the ecosystem of the Florida Keys. Learn about the birds, fish, turtles, and manatees that frequent these areas. For those that are interested snorkel through some of the tour as you experience the world under the mangroves as well. For those booking a 2 or more guests, we will automatically assign tandem (2 person) kayaks to those travelers. Travelers requesting single kayaks…please call us after booking to request single kayaks.

Upon arrival at Florida Bay Outfitters it turned out that they had registered us on their 11:30 tour instead of the 09:30 tour that we had booked. It was our luck as it meant that we went on a private tour with Connor - instead of one of today's group trips with 8-20 other participants. Great boat trip at a calm pace that suited us really well (beginners). Connor told us a little about the significance of the mangrove and the wildlife. Just like he took photos, which we subsequently got sent quite free. Nice experience which we would warmly recommend.

Nice trip along the mangroves in Key Largo. Guide Janette was top, she gave a lot of fascinating info during the trip.
