A must do when visiting! We booked last minute the night before and they didnā€™t miss a beat. We were early and Evan was waiting for us and ready to go. He was an awesome guide! He has a passion for the eco system and it shows! He made us feel comfortable and at ease, we really had a great time. Thank you! We will be recommending to all family and friends as a ā€œmust doā€ when down here.

Most importantly, our guide, Matt, was personable, knowledgeable, and professional! We enjoyed meeting and talking with Matt as much as the adventure on the water! I should mention that the kayaks and gear were quality models and in good condition. Matt led us through a few Mangrove tunnels and instructed us on the differences between the three types of mangrove trees found in Florida. We identified a few marine mollusks, had a brief view of a dolphin and were treated to a high-flying flotilla of Magnificent Frigate birds! I would say that if you are interested in finding more marine creatures, be sure you plan your trip to coincide with a low tide. Otherwise the mudflats will be too deep to see much of these creatures.

Wow it sounded like you had a wonderful adventure! We're so glad you enjoyed the mangrove tunnels with Matt and were able to see lots of different critters. The next time you return, try the Sunset Bird Rookery Kayak Tour to see the estuary under the glow of sunset filled with magnificent birds. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Great outing! Read the fabulous reviews but still wondered if it was worth the hype. It is! A fabulous experience that enables you to learn so much about the mangroves and the plants and animals that call it home. Sam is an excellent teacher and her passion can't help but get you excited about the environment you are touring. Highly recommend!!!
