The Isle of Capri Paddlecraft Park requires a $10 Parking Pass per vehicle if you do not have a Collier County Beach Parking Sticker

Children under 12 must ride in a tandem kayak with an adult

What To Expect

Marco Island

We will be paddling into the Mangrove Tunnels of the Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve just North of Marco Island launching from the Isle of Capri Paddlecraft Park. The regions only biologist guides will help you find unique wildlife while teaching you about the ecology and history of this amazing place! Get on the water with the guides who have spent their lives studying this area and explore with a real local biologist!

After exploring the mangrove tunnels with the only biologist guides in Naples & Marco, visit our partners at the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center and enjoy FREE ADMISSION with the purchase of your tour ticket to explore their exhibits, aquariums, art gallery, theater, and hiking trails! Be sure to ask about becoming a member of the Friends of Rookery Bay to further support the Reserve, gain access to special programs, events, volunteer opportunities, and discounts on tours, rentals, and at the nature store!

Ryan was our guide for a family of 7, 3 HS kids . He was very educated and informative. Learning much more than we knew about Rookery Bay Preserve, The Everglades, and it's importance made us all appreciate the nature here and how we can all help to protect it. Two of us live here and now will become friends of Rookery Bay. But do follow their guidelines on what to wear and bring!

This is an outstanding excursion into nature. Forest and Bryce are excellent guides and are very knowledgeable about the ecosystem of the estuary. We followed the group through channels and tunnels of beauty in the mangroves. The trip was relaxing and exciting as well because we learned so much about the native plants and animals of the area. They took souvenir photos of the group and the special sightings of birds and wildlife. I highly recommend this excursion into native Florida.

This was my first kayaking experience. We had a great day! Our guide, Nickolas, was the best! Very informative. I learned a lot about the flora and fauna of the estuary. Most importantly, we didn't get lost. I highly recommend this tour.
