The Isle of Capri Paddlecraft Park requires a $10 Parking Pass per vehicle if you do not have a Collier County Beach Parking Sticker

Children under 12 must ride in a tandem kayak with an adult

What To Expect

Marco Island

We will be paddling into the Mangrove Tunnels of the Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve just North of Marco Island launching from the Isle of Capri Paddlecraft Park. The regions only biologist guides will help you find unique wildlife while teaching you about the ecology and history of this amazing place! Get on the water with the guides who have spent their lives studying this area and explore with a real local biologist!

After exploring the mangrove tunnels with the only biologist guides in Naples & Marco, visit our partners at the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center and enjoy FREE ADMISSION with the purchase of your tour ticket to explore their exhibits, aquariums, art gallery, theater, and hiking trails! Be sure to ask about becoming a member of the Friends of Rookery Bay to further support the Reserve, gain access to special programs, events, volunteer opportunities, and discounts on tours, rentals, and at the nature store!

It was a fun adventure. We especially enjoyed listening to talks from knowledgeable kayak tour guides. Very educational and fun activity. Your seat will get wet, so make sure to bring swimsuits and/or change of clothes if you don’t plan on going home right afterwards.

Forrest and Evan led our group yesterday morning. We had several stops for educational information on the terrain, the wildlife and the ecology. It was ALL superb. The information was interesting to all on the trip as well as entertaining at times, The Mangroves are a beautiful ecosystem. The kayaks were easy to use so prior experience is not needed. I recommend this for EVERYONE, in fact, our daughters are coming later this spring and we are booking that trip now.

Rising Tides Kayak tour through the mangrove tunnels is just a day with nature everyone should enjoy once. Each time friends and relatives come to visit us in Naples we take them out with Rising Tides.This was our 3rd time since early 2019. The guides (today Evan & Forest) are highly educated; stopping on sand bars, getting out of kayaks and explain in layman's turns what sea life, wild life and much more of what you are viewing. My guests have always enjoyed their time with Rising Tides. I know there are other Kayak tours in Naples area but from my experience I will always go back to Rising Tides. They never fail to make it informative and enjoyable.
