The Isle of Capri Paddlecraft Park requires a $10 Parking Pass per vehicle if you do not have a Collier County Beach Parking Sticker

What To Expect

Marco Island

We will be paddling into the Mangrove Tunnels of the Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve just North of Marco Island launching from the Isle of Capri Paddlecraft Park. The regions only biologist guides will help you find unique wildlife while teaching you about the ecology and history of this amazing place! Get on the water with the guides who have spent their lives studying this area and explore with a real local biologist!

After exploring the mangrove tunnels with the only biologist guides in Naples & Marco, visit our partners at the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center and enjoy FREE ADMISSION with the purchase of your tour ticket to explore their exhibits, aquariums, art gallery, theater, and hiking trails! Be sure to ask about becoming a member of the Friends of Rookery Bay to further support the Reserve, gain access to special programs, events, volunteer opportunities, and discounts on tours, rentals, and at the nature store!

We've done practically every tourist activity in the Naples area, but this sunset kayak trip has been the most memorable. The kayaks are comfortable, the guides well informed and the kayaking fantastic. We had a gorgeous evening. Left at 5 pm and glided through bays and the mangrove tunnels until just before sunset. Then spent about 20 minutes watching at least 10 species of waterfowl settle into a small rookery island on Rookery Bay just before and after a golden sunset. The sky just got more spectacular as we paddled back to the landing by 7 pm as darkness fell. You won't need your camera. The guide took dozens of photos and you get a link to them after the trip. They are easy to down load and cost only .25 for a 4x6, 1.00 for a 5x7 and 2.50 for an 8x10. Those prices are cheaper than Walgreens.

Great day paddling through the Mangroves under the Florida sun. Nathan and Evan were great guides and very knowledgeable about the eco system in Naples. The kayaking was easy and the water was calm and shallow, great times.

This was the first time kayaking for my wife and I and it couldn't have gone better. We were in a small group led by Lief who was amazing as a coach, guide, teacher, and photographer for this two hour tour. The highlight of the evening was the Rookery where hundreds of birds fly to a small island to nest for the night. The sunset was beautiful making our time on the water very enjoyable. Only suggestion...bring bug spray as the mosquitos are out in full force. Would definitely do tour again with this company.
