The Isle of Capri Paddlecraft Park requires a $10 Parking Pass per vehicle if you do not have a Collier County Beach Parking Sticker

Children under 12 must ride in a tandem kayak with an adult

What To Expect

Marco Island

We will be paddling into the Mangrove Tunnels of the Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve just North of Marco Island launching from the Isle of Capri Paddlecraft Park. The regions only biologist guides will help you find unique wildlife while teaching you about the ecology and history of this amazing place! Get on the water with the guides who have spent their lives studying this area and explore with a real local biologist!

After exploring the mangrove tunnels with the only biologist guides in Naples & Marco, visit our partners at the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center and enjoy FREE ADMISSION with the purchase of your tour ticket to explore their exhibits, aquariums, art gallery, theater, and hiking trails! Be sure to ask about becoming a member of the Friends of Rookery Bay to further support the Reserve, gain access to special programs, events, volunteer opportunities, and discounts on tours, rentals, and at the nature store!

Great tour with Evan today. We were lucky that we were the only 2 on the tour, so we had Evan to ourselves. His knowledge of the Reserve is amazing. He got out of his kayak to get things out of the water (safely!) to show us and really explain it. We arrived early and he was already there with kayaks in the water. I purchased tickets online, and we were emailed several times before our trip, with clear details on where to go and what to bring. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed the information that we learned on the tour. The tour guide was a little soft spoken so it was hard to hear sometimes. It would have been nice to know pictures were being taken to have for free after tour was over. We only had one picture taken and we weren't even ready for it. We went with another couple and how nice it would have been to get a group picture. Otherwise very enjoyable.

Sometimes on days that are a bit breezy, we encourage our groups to get in close to the guide to ensure they can absorb all the incredible knowledge provided by our biologist guides. We apologize you had trouble hearing, and would encourage anyone reading this to let us know if they need us to speak up a bit or pull in a bit tighter. Photos are taken with every tour and sent to our explorers for free as it states on the website, confirmation emails, and reminder emails sent out to our paddlers. We apologize that some of the photos didn't make it through!
