Mangroves and Manatees - Guided Kayak Eco Tour

Overview
Our tours are geared towards first time and new paddlers.  We go at your speed so you don't have to worry about going out and getting exhausted.  Grab a friend and come along for a unique adventure on the #1-rated Eco-Tour through the mangrove ecosystem. Choose your kayak - single or double - and glide in our shallow clear water over sponges, grass beds, and sandy patches. Looking down, you might see a small nurse shark, turtle, or stingray, or can observe dolphins and manatees. Above water, herons, pelicans, and ospreys settle on the mangroves and hunt for fish. While there are no guaranteed wildlife sightings, we always see something cool in this one-of-a-kind estuary ecosystem that starts right outside the back door of our shop.

We took the 2 hour kayak your. We out into the bay and then thru the mangroves. What an awesome time! We saw baby hammerheads, baby sting Ray's, baby barricudas, tarpon, snapper, a kind of jellyfish that don't sting and at the end we saw a BUNCH of nurse sharks up close and personal. It was so amazing! Our guide, Stephen, was the best! He was quick to point out all the fish and give us some education on the mangroves ecosystem. The only thing missing was seeing a manatee, but hey, you need to save something for next time! Highly recommend!!!!

To start the retail shop had fun and reasonably priced merchandise. The guide and the owner are very friendly. There were several options for paddling. At first I was set with kayaking the tour but after talking with the guide I felt comfortable enough to paddle board knowing they would set me on the right board for me. We had a great time exploring the natural areas. Our guide Steven took the time to guide us through the adventure pointing out the wildlife and did the tour at the speed my wife and I felt comfortable going. The tour exceeded my expectations and we will be back to go paddling again.

We had a good 2 hr kayak tour with Mike. Little group. Material is in good conditions and Mike is very calm and took the time to show us the birds and talking about the environment. He took us in the narrow and shallow mangrove ( no more than 2 kayak wide). it give you the chance than to see the tree, crab, green heron very close. I was with my son of 5 years old. call in advance to make your reservation or either to say that you are interested so you can have place ( we call the 1st day and they were not enough people). nice shop, location is near from the highway and not difficult to found. Bring a hermetic bag if you want to bring in your camera.
