Mangroves and Manatees - Guided Kayak Eco Tour

Overview
Our tours are geared towards first time and new paddlers.  We go at your speed so you don't have to worry about going out and getting exhausted.  Grab a friend and come along for a unique adventure on the #1-rated Eco-Tour through the mangrove ecosystem. Choose your kayak - single or double - and glide in our shallow clear water over sponges, grass beds, and sandy patches. Looking down, you might see a small nurse shark, turtle, or stingray, or can observe dolphins and manatees. Above water, herons, pelicans, and ospreys settle on the mangroves and hunt for fish. While there are no guaranteed wildlife sightings, we always see something cool in this one-of-a-kind estuary ecosystem that starts right outside the back door of our shop.

Fun informative kayak tour into the Mangroves. Our guide Mike was very knowledgeable of the area and the wildlife that we might see. Unfortunately for us, there wasn’t much out besides crabs and fish that afternoon (and a nurse shark my daughter saw). It can be hot or miss for sure, and not a negative for the tour itself. The only negative - and it’s small since I’m still giving 5 stars - is we hung around and ‘rested’ a bit longer than I would have liked for a short 2 hour tour. It was nice and peaceful in the Mangrove canopy but my preference would have been to paddle for the entire 2 hours rather than hang in one spot for what felt like a good 20 minutes or more.
