Mangroves and Manatees - Guided Kayak Eco Tour

Overview

Our tours are geared towards first time and new paddlers. We go at your speed so you don't have to worry about going out and getting exhausted. Grab a friend and come along for a unique adventure on the #1-rated Eco-Tour through the mangrove ecosystem. Choose your kayak - single or double - and glide in our shallow clear water over sponges, grass beds, and sandy patches. Looking down, you might see a small nurse shark, turtle, or stingray, or can observe dolphins and manatees. Above water, herons, pelicans, and ospreys settle on the mangroves and hunt for fish. While there are no guaranteed wildlife sightings, we always see something cool in this one-of-a-kind estuary ecosystem that starts right outside the back door of our shop.

Our guide, Brittany made this a special experience making sure everyone in our group was included, could hear her eco-information and kept us safe in every way. She was excellent!Taking WONDERFUL photos of us while on a paddleboard. Saw manatees, dolphins and a variety of fish! I'd do this one again!

This was a great experience! It was a lot of work, but 100% worth it. We spent a lot of time pulling ourselves through mangrove tunnels, looking at the crazy cool upside down jellyfish, and floating along side a couple of manatee's. I highly recommend this adventure, but you do need to be in shape. The paddle back to the dock is a workout!
