Mangroves and Manatees - Guided Kayak Eco Tour

Overview
Our tours are geared towards first time and new paddlers.  We go at your speed so you don't have to worry about going out and getting exhausted.  Grab a friend and come along for a unique adventure on the #1-rated Eco-Tour through the mangrove ecosystem. Choose your kayak - single or double - and glide in our shallow clear water over sponges, grass beds, and sandy patches. Looking down, you might see a small nurse shark, turtle, or stingray, or can observe dolphins and manatees. Above water, herons, pelicans, and ospreys settle on the mangroves and hunt for fish. While there are no guaranteed wildlife sightings, we always see something cool in this one-of-a-kind estuary ecosystem that starts right outside the back door of our shop.

We had a great guide with Suzanne and she pointed out many interesting things in the mangrove ecosystem. They were very friendly and let us use the kayaks to just go on our own after the tour. Jellyfish lake was also very interesting. Highly recommend this company!

We enjoyed our kayak trip through the mangroves with Suzanne and Slinky. Beware that it gets tight and narrow, so you can’t use your paddle at times. The jellyfish lagoon was a highlight. We kayaked on our own after the tour and saw a dolphin, but no manatees. One negative- a lot of push to buy waterproof pouches for phones. Also, don’t forget your water. Theirs is incredibly overpriced.

thanks for coming and glad you got to go out with Slinky! she's the best. thanks for the review too. i'm sorry if you felt pressured to purchase a phone protection. we have had so many people lose their phones in the water and that is way more expensive for them.
