Mangroves and Manatees - Guided Kayak Eco Tour

Overview

Our tours are geared towards first time and new paddlers. We go at your speed so you don't have to worry about going out and getting exhausted. Grab a friend and come along for a unique adventure on the #1-rated Eco-Tour through the mangrove ecosystem. Choose your kayak - single or double - and glide in our shallow clear water over sponges, grass beds, and sandy patches. Looking down, you might see a small nurse shark, turtle, or stingray, or can observe dolphins and manatees. Above water, herons, pelicans, and ospreys settle on the mangroves and hunt for fish. While there are no guaranteed wildlife sightings, we always see something cool in this one-of-a-kind estuary ecosystem that starts right outside the back door of our shop.

We really enjoyed our kayaking experience. Suzanne was excellent. She is very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the mangroves and the ecosystem and various animals

Suzanne and "slinky dog" were great tour guides. We had a great paddle through the mangroves and even saw some Mantees. It was very relaxing and fun. This is a great way to see the mangroves.

My wife and I, along with another married couple friends of ours, had a GREAT time on our tour with Susanne! Susanne took us into a small cove where we were able to see FOUR manatees - it was incredible. Susanne was very knowledgeable and instructed us what to do to get the clearest view while also leaving the manatees alone, which we appreciated. We then went through the mangroves, which was one of the coolest experiences of our entire time in the Keys. The visuals were wild, and Susanne had little tidbits all throughout the tour! If you're on the fence, do it!! You won't regret it!
