Mangroves and Manatees - Guided Kayak Eco Tour

Overview
Our tours are geared towards first time and new paddlers.  We go at your speed so you don't have to worry about going out and getting exhausted.  Grab a friend and come along for a unique adventure on the #1-rated Eco-Tour through the mangrove ecosystem. Choose your kayak - single or double - and glide in our shallow clear water over sponges, grass beds, and sandy patches. Looking down, you might see a small nurse shark, turtle, or stingray, or can observe dolphins and manatees. Above water, herons, pelicans, and ospreys settle on the mangroves and hunt for fish. While there are no guaranteed wildlife sightings, we always see something cool in this one-of-a-kind estuary ecosystem that starts right outside the back door of our shop.

Really cool. Steve took us through the mangroves and then the residential canals in search of elusive manatees. We didn't find them, but previous paddlers spotted Steve on their house dock and offered the whole group free beer!. Steve was also great with pointing out the fauna and wildlife, like snapper and tree crabs. Overall, a great experience and the paddling exercise helped work off the beer.

thanks for coming to visit us. if stephen can't find a manatee, they aren't in town. we call him the manatee whisperer. even without them, we have so much to see here that i feel lucky to be living here. hope to see you again someday. thanks for taking time to write a review.

Steven was our guide. He took us through the mangroves and taught us about the landscape and local wildlife. He also taught us how to paddle board! On the way to the mangroves. we saw a manatee that swam under our boards which was pretty awesome. 5 star adventure!

I am so glad my husband and I decided to take this tour, it was well worth it!! Our tour guide was amazing! She was very personable and extremely knowledgeable! I have always wanted to kayak through The Mangroves and it didn’t disappoint! Next on my list is to paddle board through The Mangroves with this excellent company!! Highly recommend!!
