Overview

Relax and unwind on this 1.5-hour evening Jazz cruise on a 1920s style yacht. This cruise features a main glass enclosed observation cabin with comfortable bench seating throughout, as well as an open bow. Each booking party will be assigned a private table separated by Plexiglass. Listen to live music by the jazz trio, whose members may play anything from classic jazz standards by Gershwin, Cole Porter, and Duke Ellington to new renditions of Motown songs, R&B grooves, and today's hits. Cruise along the Hudson River and experience many major lower Manhattan sites.

The band was amazing. The boat was beautiful. We also passed by the Statue of Liberty. Very family friendly as well. They serve snacks and some drinks are actually complimentary!

My wife and I enjoyed the Sunset City Lights Jazz Cruise, which departed Chesea Docks at 9:15 PM. The weather was perfect, with clear skies and a nice cool breeze. We were pleased with the quality of the live music, and with the professionalism of the crew on the beautiful sailing schooner. The trip is down the Hudson and past the Statue of Liberty, and a return, with great views of both sides of the river. The big advantage of this cruise is that the customer group is much smaller than on most of the other boats, and did not seem crowded. Everyone sats out on the cabin roof, in a single file bow to midship in our case. If you have good sea legs, this is a perfect trip, made even better by a couple of drinks of good wine {included} and good company {my lovely wife, in this case}.

Sunset cruise are the best and the jazz band accompanying the sun setting was absolutely beautiful! It was great enjoying being a tourist in our own city! We will go again!
