This is not a private tour. Shared flights require a minimum of 2-4 passengers to operate (depending on aircraft availability) and may be cancelled if minimum is not met. More than 3 passengers are not guaranteed to fly together.
Flights depart and arrive at Westchester County Airport in White Plains, a relaxed crowd-free location just outside NYC easily accessed by public transit (Metro-North rail from Grand Central Terminal) or car (free parking).
PLEASE NOTE: The 30-minute tour does not reach Lower Manhattan/Statue of Liberty area.
Convenient roundtrip transfers are available from anywhere in Manhattan for additional fee (if option selected).
All flights are subject to weather and helicopter maintenance; if canceled due to these reasons, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.
Routes are subject to change due to weather, air traffic control, and temporary flight restrictions.
Maximum weight 250 lbs (113 kg) per person, also subject to combined weight limits per flight.
Children younger than 2 years may ride on their parent’s lap at no cost. Under 18 requires parental or guardian consent.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 phones are not allowed on helicopter flights.

We (5 friends) booked a 30 minutes trip... BUT the heliport is 25 miles from Manhattan. So we had to book a transport to and from the Airport ... this add $200 to the bill plus Airport taxes $235 ... that brings the tour to $400 per pax. As the heliport is quite far from Manhattan we spend 2/3 of the fly to go to and from New York. So approx. 10 minutes above Manhattan. We didn't fly over lower Manhattan and Statue of Liberty neither Brooklyn Bridge ...

As advertised, we offer 30 and 45 minute NYC tours departing from our Westchester home base. Only the 45 minute tour reaches to Lower Manhattan or the Statue of Liberty, due to the longer distance. The differences between the tours, airport fees due at check in, the meeting point location outside Manhattan and how to get there, are all described on our offer pages in detail, in order to help our customers make an informed decision prior to purchasing the tour. This tour was absolutely beautiful! We did at night time tour (7pm) so we could see the city at night. The views are amazing and a once in a life time experience. I proposed which made the event that much more special! The staff was professional and very accommodating. I highly recommend!

The pilot arrived late and we miss sunset view of Manhattan. It was dark, at night. Most of the ride wasn't over New York. The pilot was friendly but the tour was so poor because he was late and because of the limited time over Manhattan. We don't recommend this tour. Better take of at the city to get more over Manhattan. The pilot arriving late ruined our sunset view. I wasn't see the city, because of my window. I thought the pilot must turning over at some point to everyone has the best view, but he didn't. He just left the city as soon as he arrived at New York.

We are sorry to hear that this was your impression. For a sunset tour you should have booked 8 PM and not 8:30 PM because the sun was already down at 8:23 that day. Night flights are just as beautiful, if not more, as evidenced by our many 5 star reviews and the photo you uploaded. By the way there are no helicopter tours departing from Manhattan after 6 PM. You forgot to mention that you got upgraded to a private tour from the shared tour you originally booked.
