We enjoyed the two hour tour with Ben. He gave us a great overview of the history of the neighborhoods, and included the baseball history, which I enjoyed immensely! The walk was enjoyable, and not particularly strenuous. Great for anyone who wants to see and understand these neighborhoods. Wear comfortable walking shoes, and dress for the weather. Make sure to bring your camera, plenty of beautiful shots of the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges.

My 25-year-old son and I took the walking tour from the Pod Times Square Hotel to Chelsea, the Meatpacking District, Greenwich Village and the High Line. Definitely a highlight of the trip. Our guide was excellent, and we learned a lot about the history and architecture of the neighborhoods. I appreciated that we took the subway like “real” New Yorkers, and that our guide didn’t carry a flag :). The pace was perfect, even for a middle-aged mom. I would highly recommend this 2.5 hour tour, and I assume any of this company’s tours would be enjoyable.

Greg met us at our hotel and took us on a 4.5 hour tour of the cool Manhattan neighbourhoods. We find doing a tour on the first day the best way to get to know a new City and this was no exception. Greg is friendly, passionate and well informed and really made our experience memorable. If you care about the politics, history and culture of NY then he’s your man.
