We were recommended 'Streetwise NY Tours' by a friend. I booked a private tour for my husband, me and our 2 adult children. Dan was our guide and he took us to some really interesting and quirky places, which we would never have found on our own in just a weekend - such as the Meatpacking District & Chelsea Market, DUMBO and Brooklyn. He helped us navigate the subway and suggested places to eat and visit. He took us away from the busy tourist areas and we walked miles. We were so glad we booked the tour. We had already been to NY before so this was something different for us and we wouldn't have wanted to have missed it. Thank you Dan!

The tour Andrew led was what every walking tour should be like. He had a wealth of information and answered all my questions. The photos ops were one of a kind and mostly away from the typical "touristy" locations. I will definitely be taking more walking tours with Streetwise!

Over the course of a five day trip to NYC, I joined three walking tours from POD hotels. Greg, Sonya and Andrew and absolute rock stars!! I truly feel that without having participated in the walking tours, I never would have gained the same amount of appreciation of the neighborhoods we visited. As a solo traveler, I can't thank POD hotels and Streetwise for the opportunity to socialize amongst other travelers, all while learning about and enjoying NYC. Highly recommended, the tours are so interesting, and guides are so friendly, you almost don't want it to end!! Truly the highlight of my vacation.
