The walking tour with Patrick was great! It was not too long and not too short, just perfect. We have learnt many interesting things and saw great places. I would recommend it to everyone! Perfect way to get to know the city! Oh, Patrick even recommended us a perfect pizza place (Juliana's, which was Grimaldi's before). Best pizza in town!

We had the Highline walking tour offered by the Pod Hotel. Dan was a vertrek good guide. He showed us a fair part of the Meatpacking district and Greenwich Village. Great job! So sorry we have to leave New York thuis spin. We would have liked to do the other tours you guys are offering. Absolutely top notch! Peter & Debbie (Belgium).

I recently had an opportunity to visit New York City. After looking at the traffic congestion, I decided exploring on foot would be a much better idea than getting on a sightseeing bus. I was so fortunate to find Streetwise! With less than a day’s notice, Andrew arranged a 3 hour tour focused on the interests of our small group. He met us at the location of our choice and told fascinating stories as he walked us by points of interest in Greenwich Village, Soho, Little Italy and Chinatown. He conveyed the history of the neighborhoods and took us into shops that exemplified the character of each part of the city. Andrew adapted the trip as we moved along, offering to take us by places we might find interesting (historic music shop, the “sex in the city” apartment building, etc.). As a bonus, Andrew explained how to find our way around the subway system and offered ideas for food and entertainment even after our tour ended. I have already recommended Streetwise to friends and will definitely hire them again when I have an opportunity to visit another part of the city.
