I joined 2 tours of Streetwise NY on my trip this week and it was great! The first tour was to Brooklyn we had a great walk around brooklyn heights and Dumbo, which was fantastic I loved the artsy scene and I don't think I would have visited this if I hadn't gone on the tour. Ofcourse I ended it by eating the most amazing pizza at Juliana's (thanks Dan for the tip) and walking the brooklyn bridge. The second tour I took was to the highline, chelsea market, meatpacking district and ended in Washington square park. Our guide Patrick was great he brought a lot of humor into it and a bit of his own opinion about things. Who would have known that the hotel Jay-Z and Solange were fighting in was right next to the high line;) They take a picture of the group near to the end and send it to your email which is nice! Thanks guys for these great tours!

Having lived in NYC for three years, I found it to be a place where walking it essential. Seriously consider taking a tour and not wasting time missing places you will speed by in a taxi cab.

We visited NYC for a couple of days in mid July from the UK. Dan was a fantastic guide around New York City during our six-hour private tour (for a family of 2 adults + 2 teens). Before the tour we were considering leaving early due to the hot weather, but once we were on the tour we enjoyed it so much we kept going! During the tour we saw many interesting sights in lower Manhattan and Dan explained the stories and information behind everything very well. Dan was engaging and knowledgeable, and tailored the tour to what we wanted to see and do. We stopped for breaks whenever we needed then, but still felt like we learnt and covered lots. In the end our tour ended being 6.5 hours, as Dan showed us an extra monument and helped us on the subway to our hotel, in his own time. Thank you very much!
