Super delayed in my reviewing since I did the tours in June 2014, but I guess it's a testament to Streetwise Tours that I still think about how good they are!! I took two walking tours with them Dumbo/Brooklyn Heights and Greenwich Village. The tours were entertaining and fascinating and both the guides I had (Andy and Patrick) were extremely knowledgeable and just genuinely nice guys. They also teach you how to use the subway which I was so thankful for haha. If I ever come back to NYC, I'll definitely look these guys up.

I heard about the free walking tours at The Pod 39 Hotel where I was staying in New York. I had to walk to the Pod 51 and join the guide and the group. I had been in New York several times but this was my first time in Brooklyn and the meat packing district. thanks to Streetwise on Feb 12th and 13th 2015. Andrew and Dan were extremely nice and helpful. Both of them knew a lot and I also learned a lot. In spite of the cold weather I enjoyed every minute of it and I would take it next time I am in NYC by all means. Great idea and excelent tour.

When staying at pod51 we did 2 of these walking tours. First we did dumbo and Brooklyn with Andrew. The tour was great, informative without too much to take in thus keeping you interested. Saw some great places we would never have known even existed let alone how to get to if we had been on our own. The next day we did the meat packing district, Greenwich village, Chelsea market and the high line with Dan. This day was ridiculously cold, and had a bigger group which should be taken into consideration when you read my review of this tour. It was still very interesting and again we went places we never would have done ourselves, but compared to the day before it seemed to lack a little something. I think Dan was not as confident .(Maybe due to there being a much larger group than the day before) All in all though both tours were great.
