We traveled to NYC for a long weekend with our daughters (twins 16, 13yr old). We booked a tour with Andrew Silverstein to get an overall feel for the culture of NYC and experience the intimacies of the city we would otherwise miss. Andrew helped us navigate the subway, lead us through several neighborhoods, and directed us to where we should eat and what we should see in our remaining time there. I highly recommend this private tour for anyone feeling overwhelmed with what to do in NYC. Andrew is a native, so he is showing you around his hometown, the perfect perspective.

I recently participated in a walking tour of Brooklyn and was pleasantly surprised that it went out of the way to show alternative tourist sites such as a boutique chocolate shop and cafe with all manner of freshly brewed coffee. Highlight was a visit to an alternative library which has stirred my imagination to write again. We even enjoyed a local feery trip along the East River which provided panoramic views of Manhattan. Andrew was the perfect host providing us with all form of local information (I want to see the church with the "Normandie's" doors!) and made it a very enjoyable afternoon "on the trot."

We thoroughly enjoyed the High-Line walk ably led by Andrew Silverstein. Departing from POD 51, catch the subway to Meatpackers District. Greenwich Village, Bleeker Street are bonuses as well. Really enjoyed the 'back-ground' history by a knowledgeable Tour Guide. Very Impressed.
