We honestly did expect much more from the experience. Terribly overpriced, plus you still have to pay 40$ per person at the heliport which makes the entire activity 200 $ more expensive for a family of 5 (!!!). However the most disappointing part was the zero interaction of the pilot... He just puts a tape on that talks...We would have expected the pilot making the flight more interactive and funny, talking himself , adding music etc. It was very boring and terrible overpriced. I would not recommend it at all. Not worth the money.

When it comes to the Heliport Fees, we make it a priority to be completely transparent when it comes to the added fees charged at check in to pay the facility. All third party vendors as well as our own website outline the $40 Heliport Fee. Over a decade ago we made the decision to provide narrated pre-recorded audio tours on all our flights to minimize the interaction with customers and crew. This was never meant to create distance or disconnection with customers, it was solely to provide an extra layer of safety where pilots can focus on air traffic and radio calls within the busiest airspace in the country. Hello Helen_C, We apologize for the sudden Cancellation of your Tour on November 4, 2022. Out of an abundance of caution, we cancelled all afternoon Tours that day due to fuel contamination. Our helicopters were grounded to give our Maintenance Team a chance to meticulously check each one of them. Once we discovered this issue, we advised all other local operators. As a result all NYC helicopter operators followed suit and all helicopter operations in NYC were stopped. Despite the regrettable inconvenience, safety is, and always will be, our first priority. On November 5th we resumed flying and are happy to see that you were able to take your Tour in the afternoon. Again, our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience this may have caused you.
