Overview

We carry a maximum of 6 passengers so we can offer a more intimate manta ray snorkel experience than the larger "cattle boats" in Kona.

In addition to delivering a more private experience, our small group size allows for a better manta ray show. Your swim guide will tow your party to the most active areas of the snorkel site, as you hold onto a light board and enjoy the show. Larger groups on bigger boats are often required to stay next to the boat, and can't chase the manta ray action as we do. By locating the most active areas of the snorkel site, you'll have a higher chance of seeing more manta rays.

If you book all 6 seats on any trip, you will have your own private charter.

Last night was incredible. The coolest thing I've ever done in my life! Night snorkeling with Manta Ray's. They swam so close they touched us. They are the most gentle creatures. A must do on the Big Island. Only place you can do this in the world! Shut out to our amazing tour guide Eric from Coral Reef Adventures! He was so knowledgeable about the Manta's and made us all feel so comfortable. ❤️ As a travel agent I will recommend this to all my clients traveling here!

Captain Jeff and guide Jake provided a lovely experience. We hit the water and were immediately swimming with manta rays. Such a great memory to take home. Recommend this experience if on the island. Worth every penny. Go late at night!

This tour was the best part of my trip on Big Island and something everyone should experience. Our guide and driver Jake and Jeff made the experience easy and stress free, and they were very knowledgeable answering any questions. The manta rays were incredible, unlike anything you can imagine without seeing up close. Also beautiful night sky views.10/10 would recommend to anyone!
