Head out in Kona, one of the best places in the world to see mantas, to see the sunset over the water before jumping in to enjoy swimming with manta rays in their underwater nighttime realm. "Manta safari" guides escort you around the site with a mobile light show that attracts these gentle and fascinating creatures. Jan 1- March 31 departure time is 5:30PM and 8:30pm April 1- September 31 departure time is 6PM and 9pm, October 1- December 31 departure time is 5PM and 8pm. You will be placed where there is availability. Please call 24 hours prior to confirm departure time.

We had a great time saw manta rays close up and hung out nose to nose with a local female monk seal.

Five of us did the sunset snorkeling adventure and it was amazing! There were so many manta rays and they swam right up close, at times brushing against us. We also saw a monk seal, which is evidentally not something you see everyday. The crew--Rory, Maddie, Bri, and Patrick--were all AWESOME! They were so friendly and knowledgeable, with great senses of humor, all of which made the trip more fun. The tour group also provided a wetsuit top, snorkel and mask, and plenty of snacks!

I would just like to start with saying that was amazing. The captain and crew were really nice, it was one of the best underwater experiences I’ve ever had. Well done! Only complaint (very minor) is that the boat can sometimes be a little crowded but it is manageable.
