Head out in Kona, one of the best places in the world to see mantas, to see the sunset over the water before jumping in to enjoy swimming with manta rays in their underwater nighttime realm. "Manta safari" guides escort you around the site with a mobile light show that attracts these gentle and fascinating creatures. Jan 1- March 31 departure time is 5:30PM and 8:30pm April 1- September 31 departure time is 6PM and 9pm, October 1- December 31 departure time is 5PM and 8pm. You will be placed where there is availability. Please call 24 hours prior to confirm departure time.

Saw many manta Rays. Brian was excellent and his bubbles were beautiful. We were extremely lucky seeing these graceful creatures and many fish.

Did this for my 62nd birthday - was excellent!! A little difficult getting back in the boat after as sea was a bit rough, but overall a great time.

We,a party of 5 rebooked for the next night's 9:00PM (we could not make a 8:30PM rebooking) cruise due to lightning at sea. The captain/owner really wanted to satisfy the disappointed boat load of customers. Our experience was unbelievebly great! We had the boat and guide to ourselves. It was a calm,warm night so the guide recommended that we sit in the front of the boat for a better view of the Kona lights and the full moon. We were in the water for about 30 minutes and maybe had 40 sightings. Everyone was shreiking in excitement including our guide. The rays came so close that my wife and daughter in law said they actually brushed them. I could have touched them 4 times but I chose to protect them from harm. Big Bertha highlighted our encounter!
