I highly recommend this outing, it's one of those times in your life you are struck dumb at the size and gracefulness of these creatures. Definitely recommended.

We started out with late afternoon snorkel in the bay by the boat as dark fell we got ready for our night snorkel. We only had wet suit shirts so we got cold fast. There were lots of boats with teams in the water. You have to hold on to a frame and get dragged around to find the mantas. We saw three and got out. Seems like there were better prepared teams around us with full wet suits and stronger lights.

So, the sail was nice out to the snorkel site and back. But, they don’t tell you that you have to stay in a Superman pose for an hour in the dark, cold water and on our visit, one manta ray passed twice. The boat crew said they had a hard time seeing them lately.
