Head out in Kona, one of the best places in the world to see mantas, to see the sunset over the water before jumping in to enjoy swimming with manta rays in their underwater nighttime realm. "Manta safari" guides escort you around the site with a mobile light show that attracts these gentle and fascinating creatures. Jan 1- March 31 departure time is 5:30PM and 8:30pm April 1- September 31 departure time is 6PM and 9pm, October 1- December 31 departure time is 5PM and 8pm. You will be placed where there is availability. Please call 24 hours prior to confirm departure time.

Great trip, we saw many rays and some bottle nose dolphin were in the bay. The crew was very efficient in providing the equipment and details and the boat ride under the stars was cool. Water team focused on providing us with the optimal location to view the rays. Alex was super in providing information on what we were seeing too.

The mantas were cool, but the staff was not family friendly. The crew spent the boat ride back making inappropriate jokes to each other and showering on the main boat platform in front of the guests. It was priced lower than the competitors, but you get what you pay for. Would not recommend for families with younger children. My kiddo had many questions about the staff and their behavior on the ride home. It totally overshadowed the experience with the manta rays, which was a major disappointment
