I wish I could leave two separate ratings - The bus company that picks up in Boston and drops off in Falmouth at the ferry is fine. Good communications to confirm pickup, on-time pick-ups both ways, suitable quality mini-bus type van. Our driver talked almost non stop so the "light commentary" is actually "heavy". The water bottles are cold and great for the ride back. The snacks are muffin bits in the morning and chips in the afternoon. - I bought the optional Island Tour. In hindsight, I should have made other arrangements for a tour. I was on the fence about the tour after reading the reviews but rolled the dice and lost. It's a 3-hour ride in an old school bus around MV with a 45 minute stop in Edgartown and a 15 min stop at the Cliffs. Our driver was entertaining and tried really hard to pass the time with his personal stories of the island. But I wanted to spend more time outside of Oak Bluffs. The 45 mins in Edgartown is not enough for more than a short walk and stop at the bathroom. I've previously been to and spent time on MV so it was just a waste of a day for me. But the person that came with me missed an opportunity that may not come back. If you want to say you've been to MV, then this might work for you. But if you want to see MV, do something else.

Thank you for taking the time to review us. I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the island tour. We get a lot of feedback regarding our tour and have customized it according to guests suggestions. Everyone has their opinion about how the tour should be done. Keep in mind that we can have as many as 100 people on our trip on a given day and everyone's opinion could be different. We do the best we can and unfortunately you happened to be one that didn't like the presentation. Sorry! Sincerely, Stephen M. Belcastro President New England Trips Inc.

We did the island tour and really enjoyed it. Anthony was a great tour guide and very informative! Had plenty of time for site seeing and shopping back on Oak Bluffs.

Hotel pick up was on time! The ride out to port was smooth. Midway we stopped at a McDs for restroom and coffee refill. We added the island tour - sooo worth! Wish we had more time in Edgar. Highly recommend this tour! Worth the price and time. It was all seemless. Still had plenty of time to do stuff on our own after bus island tour.
