If 4.5 stars were an option I would do that due to the show only being 1 hr. long, but 4 stars just felt too low. The show prices are getting outrageous and keep going up every year so we had a hard time finding a good show that was too expensive and this was it. We were expecting a smaller magic show that doesn't have all the big production value of David Copperfield or Criss Angel but we were ok with that as we like the more intimate setting more often than not, and that's what this is. The theatre is on the smaller side but it's great as every seat has an awesome view and Mat is super interactive with the audience. The magic was more close up and although there were a few tricks I knew how he did them, there were a ton that BLEW MY MIND! But it wasn't just the magic that was entertaining, Mat himself is hilarious and had us rolling the entire time. He could definitely be a comedian or an actor if he wanted to be. For the money this show was definitely worth it and it's great for families as it is extremely clean with a few innuendos thrown in for the adults.

I am typically not a magic show kind of guy. You know they are just optical illusions, and there is some slight of hand going on or planted audience members, so it's more of something I am okay with watching on TV. Anyway, the Mat Franco is was AMAZING!! I remember seeing him on AGT and thought he was absolutely engaging. I completely forgot about him until a coworker mentioned seeing his show, so on a business trip to LV I decided to treat myself and see Mat. I purchased some inexpensive tickets almost at the back of the room aaaaall the way to the side (it's a small venue though so it's not that bad) and ended up having a BLAST. Mat really knows how to tell a story and engage the audience. I was literally smiling from ear to ear throughout the entire show. Did I think he planted some cast in the audience to choose as volunteers? Yes, but oh well. After my first great experience, I wanted to share the show with my friend, so on my next trip I bought front row tickets to see Mat. I also was prepared with all the props needed to raise my hand to be a volunteer, but would he really choose me over someone he planted? Probably not...until he DID!!! I was brought on for the first act, which was actually a mix of a few mini acts. I still have no idea how he did his tricks, but it was SO FUN. After posting about my experience, a friend said she was also chosen for another act later in the show! I guess that disproves any comments here that say he plants audience members. GO SEE THE SHOW!!! You won't regret it! My only advice is to purchase directly from the box office in the LINQ hotel instead of online. They are cheaper and you can choose the exact seats you are getting. Guess who is going to see Mat again the next time he is in Vegas? Yep, ME! I'm determined to be chosen for another act so I can get some autographed memorabilia.

Our family of 4 enjoyed Mat Franco's show; it was polished and kept moving which resulted in a very engaged audience throughout. Plenty of opportunity for audience participation on-stage as well. If you can somehow manage the difficult challenge of avoiding exposing your kids to all of the inappropriate stereotypical LV strip garbage on the way to the Linq theater location, we highly recommend seeing this show! One poor server dumped a tray of drinks on a customer, but we think that was an anomaly and surely doesnt happen every night! :)
