The expression on my son's face and how he can't stop talking about it. He is 18 and have done everything fron sky diving to white water rafting this Alaskan trip was one of his graduation gifts. He said it was awesome!! I had an accident right before and could not accompanying him as I have done on all other vacations (17) and 6 cruises but Lori was awesome and refunded my money. I am 73 and I am blessed to know of a wonderful person like her. Everyone I have talked to says she is great and how true. Also I can not forget our driver Ryan. He went above being a guide. Helping me in and out of car Awesome He even went into store and pickout boots for my son ,( he wore slippers to the hike!!) If you get Ryan you will live the 2hour ride up there but the glacier walk tops everything my son has done in the last 16 years. Again, please book this tour. It will be the highlight of allaska and there are no better people than Lori or Ryan and your experience will last a life time

We're overjoyed that your son had a great time on the tour, and are looking forward to having you back on your feet so we can take you out on the ice as well! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. All the best, Lori

The tour was nice and enjoyable to a certain extent. However, given how much it costs, I would say that it is not good value for money. For the trip I was on, our young driver/tour guide said it was his first day. He was very nice, personable, and I wish him the best for the future. But for the price paid, I would expect our tour guide to be knowledgeable and gave relevant information about the place being visited / along the way. It was not obvious to me while I was doing the trip, but I learned so much more about Alaska/Anchorage/wildlife/glacier/etc from my guides during subsequent trips organised by different companies. At the start of the trip, we also made a stop at a petrol station because the tour guide and some people in our group had a mutual friend who happened to be in the area. So he stopped at the station to wait for the mutual friend to show up and have a chat for 10 minutes. I do not think this is very professional as obviously I did not pay to wait in the van for this. Again, nothing personal and I wish the tour guide the best for the future. He seems to be a nice kid who is hardworking. But for the price paid, I would not recommend this tour.

Hello - thank you for going on tour with us, and for taking the time to leave a review. Customer feedback is the best way for our guides and company to learn and grow. I hope the rest of your Alaska vacation was terrific! All the best, Lori

I'm absolutely in love with this hike. It was informative and challenging enough for me (I'm not a regular hiker but has done 10-mile trip on big rocks). The views were stunning and unreal. I've gotten a chance to experience walking on glacier, hearing and watching the running water streams under ice, touching the mud, washing my hands with the purest water, tasting some ice from glacier, and embracing being present at those moments. There are 2 tour guides: the ones driving us to the glacier and the one taking us on the hike - they are good in general. It would be good to bring some cash for tips ($20-40) so you wouldn't have to use an unknown ATM and got charged additional service fee.
