We loved this day trip out of Anchorage! Lori was our driver. She was very entertaining, made sure everyone on the van was comfortable and engaged in great conversation in a variety of topics. Our guide on the glacier was also great. Overall walk was about 3 miles. The pace was very comfortable. We did not find the hike to be physically taxing, but you would need to be comfortable going up and down inclines with ice spikes.

We visited Anchorage in Sept 2021 for 5 days. Matanushka Glacier Hike Day tour with 907 was hands down the best time in Alaska. Alyssa (Elisa) was our tour guide/driver. She was punctual & well informed. Her energy was contagious, she was fun and kept the group engaged with her 'ice breakers'. Pun intended. 907 arranges pick-up from hotel which is very helpful given the shortage of rental cars in Anchorage. Started at 8:30am for the 2hr drive to the Glacier with single stop for snacks/restroom. You would not be hiking with the driver as only 'expert guides' are allowed to take groups for the hike. The hike was 2.5-3hrs in total. We were back to the bus by 1pm. 907 stops at Long Rifle Lodge for lunch (recommend the tacos!). She dropped everyone to respective hotels by 5:30pm. Tour drive was safe. Bus was clean and spacious (not like other touring companies where we were cramped). Big shout out to Alyssa again!

We had an amazing trip our guide Alissa was very friendly and interactive , we had a great hike on the glacier and the ride had some awesome views for store for us !
