I rented a kayak from one of the GeoTrippin' locations and it was a great customer experience. The agents were helpful over the phone, nice to work with and the rental was affordable. The location I went to wasn't very scenic but it was a good workout on the water at a good price which is what I was looking for.

We booked a 3-hr kayak tour (10:00-13:00) for our family of 5, our 3 children are 15,21 & 23. Ben, our guide, was very passionate about kayaking and the area, its wildlife and history as well. We stopped a lot and heā€™d speak about the wildlife, the history of the river and events that took place in the early years of Saint Augustine.. and the oyster islands right across the departure point. It was very educational and i liked his genuine interest in those topics. We saw dolphins and even sea turtles. Even though it was not out first time kayaking, He also taught us some useful kayaking techniques, which we used maneuvering narrow and shallow areas between oyster islands. Some of is would have preferred more kayaking and fewer stops. Also we came back at 12:15/20 rather than ending the tour at 13:00. If tou have young kids or older people that may not want or be able to kayak hard, the tour isn't very challenging physically so it is accessible to most people. There is a ramp for easy access to the beach area as well. Overall it was a very pleasant and fun experience and the weather was ideal that day. Ben was super nice and knowledgeable. I expected a little more kayaking and to go a but farther out.

We absolutely would recommend this kayaking trip to everyone. Our guide Ben was extremely knowledgeable about the tidal ecosystem/marsh the plants, trees, birds and sealife that make it their home. His knowledge of the area history was impressive also. It was a gorgeous day and Ben gave us many tips on how to kayak more efficiently and effectively. Our trip took us down the river past the oyster beds with sea turtles popping their heads up and fish jumping along side of our kayaks. We even saw a seaplane land and take off. It was an amazingly educational and yet laid-back trip all at the same time. We could not have asked for a more perfect adventure!!

Itā€™s always surprise all the great things we see. That seaplane surely was unexpected. Glad to know you enjoyed and would recommend your experience for others.
