Overview

All riders must be 36 inches or taller to participate/ride submarine.

Dive 100 feet below the surface and experience Maui’s marine treasures off beautiful Lahaina with Atlantis Submarines Maui. A special added bonus of this tour experience is seeing the spectacular West Maui Mountains while riding our shuttle boat to the Maui dive site.

Stingray, yellow tang, eel, parrotfish, bluefin trevally, and an array of other marine species are seen regularly at the dive site. See firsthand how the Carthaginian, a sunken 19th century whaling brig, has combined with Mother Nature to create a fascinating artificial reef to attract and support marine life of all sizes, shapes and colors.

Our air-conditioned, comfortable submarine interiors offer large viewing ports, which allow guests to relax and enjoy the amazing wonders of the deep. Passengers must be capable of ascending and descending a near vertical ladder on their own to board the submarine
Total tour time is approximately 1 hour 50 minutes. Actual underwater tour time is 45 minutes
Children must be 36 inches or taller to ride the submarine
Infants are not permitted on the submarine.

It’s an exciting adventure to go under the sea. But what really makes this experience worth it is the crew. Guide Koa and Captain Chad are a great team. We learned about the Lahaina area while on the boat out to the submarine, and once we we were aboard and dived beneath the surface we were soon able to see sharks, rays and a large predator fish on the hunt. The Carthaginian, a sunken ship, is now a vehicle for viewing Sea life. This was a very enjoyable excursion with a wonderful crew!

My first time on a submarine. It was awesome, and I had just come off Reefdancer, a half submerged boat. I guess I was at Westin, a high end esort with a group. Both were fantastic. But here's some advice. Even as a man, forget women, the public toilets are beyond disgusting. One dollar for a senior to last stop "wharf," toooooo confusing, and you must get off at wharf. I was on a tour. OMG. So great, leave brochures at hotels ( half full), hire a plumber; do hotel pickups---make money. Both trips awesome. Sub best.
