Overview

All riders must be 36 inches or taller to participate/ride submarine.

Dive 100 feet below the surface and experience Maui’s marine treasures off beautiful Lahaina with Atlantis Submarines Maui. A special added bonus of this tour experience is seeing the spectacular West Maui Mountains while riding our shuttle boat to the Maui dive site.

Stingray, yellow tang, eel, parrotfish, bluefin trevally, and an array of other marine species are seen regularly at the dive site. See firsthand how the Carthaginian, a sunken 19th century whaling brig, has combined with Mother Nature to create a fascinating artificial reef to attract and support marine life of all sizes, shapes and colors.

Our air-conditioned, comfortable submarine interiors offer large viewing ports, which allow guests to relax and enjoy the amazing wonders of the deep. Passengers must be capable of ascending and descending a near vertical ladder on their own to board the submarine
Total tour time is approximately 1 hour 50 minutes. Actual underwater tour time is 45 minutes
Children must be 36 inches or taller to ride the submarine
Infants are not permitted on the submarine.

Great way to get out on a boat and underwater. Truly unique experience. Boat and sub both very clean and in excellent shape. Crew very helpful and attentive. Professionally run tour. Saw every type of fish imaginable including sharks. It was similar to our snorkeling experience but deeper down to 100+ feet, and more relaxed. Sub was cool and comfortable and not tight. I liked it as much as our helicopter tour. We’ll worth it.

Great activity!! Went down to 134 feet, saw fish, sharks, and sunk ship. Would recommend, not your everyday excursion!!!

This was the most interesting tour we took. Went down about 140 ft. Saw a sunken ship up close, sharks, tons of colorful little fish and lots of big fish. Everyone gets a good view with their own porthole. The guide was very entertaining and informative. Would highly recommend , especially for families with kids.
