Overview

All riders must be 36 inches or taller to participate/ride submarine.

Dive 100 feet below the surface and experience Maui’s marine treasures off beautiful Lahaina with Atlantis Submarines Maui. A special added bonus of this tour experience is seeing the spectacular West Maui Mountains while riding our shuttle boat to the Maui dive site.

Stingray, yellow tang, eel, parrotfish, bluefin trevally, and an array of other marine species are seen regularly at the dive site. See firsthand how the Carthaginian, a sunken 19th century whaling brig, has combined with Mother Nature to create a fascinating artificial reef to attract and support marine life of all sizes, shapes and colors.

Passengers must be capable of ascending and descending a near vertical ladder on their own to board the submarine
Total tour time is approximately 1 hour 50 minutes. Actual underwater tour time is 45 minutes
Children must be 36 inches or taller to ride the submarine
Infants are not permitted on the submarine.

This was a special adventure. We were a small group and so the trip was very comfortable. It was amazing to see ourselves go deeper and deeper and when we reached 130 feet below the surface we were awestruck. Captain Mel was knowledgeable and personable.and spotted many things we would have missed. Highly recommend this adventure.

The submarine is a very different and fun experience. Our guide, Christy (maybe I misspelled her name) is awesome, knows a lot about the different animals we saw and our captain Tito was very good. The submarine turn around several times in the coral reef and the sunken ship to be sure everybody could see the eels and the white tipped reef shark. It was great.
