Overview

All riders must be 36 inches or taller to participate/ride submarine.

Dive 100 feet below the surface and experience Maui’s marine treasures off beautiful Lahaina with Atlantis Submarines Maui. A special added bonus of this tour experience is seeing the spectacular West Maui Mountains while riding our shuttle boat to the Maui dive site.

Stingray, yellow tang, eel, parrotfish, bluefin trevally, and an array of other marine species are seen regularly at the dive site. See firsthand how the Carthaginian, a sunken 19th century whaling brig, has combined with Mother Nature to create a fascinating artificial reef to attract and support marine life of all sizes, shapes and colors.

Our air-conditioned, comfortable submarine interiors offer large viewing ports, which allow guests to relax and enjoy the amazing wonders of the deep. Passengers must be capable of ascending and descending a near vertical ladder on their own to board the submarine
Total tour time is approximately 1 hour 50 minutes. Actual underwater tour time is 45 minutes
Children must be 36 inches or taller to ride the submarine
Infants are not permitted on the submarine.

It was a great underwater adventure without getting wet! We were able to see fish, sharks, octopus, and coral...some fish even swam right up to the window and looked in. It is a great activity if you have group members that want to go underwater but aren't comfortable physically being in the water or don't scuba dive!

My husband and I found this on Trip Advisor the night before and decided to give it a shot. It was AMAZING!!!! You get so close to the coral and marine life. A couple of times our naturalist was totally geeking out and taught us so much.

What a wonderful experience. Totally professional crew, great visibility, and plenty of room. We saw a large variety of fish, a boat wrecked to create a reef and even 3 sharks. We were down to 128 feet below and as comfortable as sitting in your living room, with the exception of a spectacular view of the ocean floor.
