Overview

All riders must be 36 inches or taller to participate/ride submarine.

Dive 100 feet below the surface and experience Maui’s marine treasures off beautiful Lahaina with Atlantis Submarines Maui. A special added bonus of this tour experience is seeing the spectacular West Maui Mountains while riding our shuttle boat to the Maui dive site.

Stingray, yellow tang, eel, parrotfish, bluefin trevally, and an array of other marine species are seen regularly at the dive site. See firsthand how the Carthaginian, a sunken 19th century whaling brig, has combined with Mother Nature to create a fascinating artificial reef to attract and support marine life of all sizes, shapes and colors.

Infants are not permitted on the submarine.

I took my eight year old son on the Maui Atlantis sub ride. The entire staff/crew from check-in to the boat ride to the sub to the sub crew were great. The sub captain was entertaining and informative. My son could not get enough. We saw lots of cool fish and the wreck was great as well. The experience is well worth the cost. And... don't forget to register in advance to get a free ticket for your kid.

What a fun adventure. Our family of nine adults all enjoyed this dry dive to see coral reefs, exotic fish, and a sunken ship/artificial reef. Jordan provided a running commentary of the history of Atlantis IV, the reef, changing populations of fish in the area, the dozing shark napping on the bottom, and more trivia than I can remember. After we watched the next group dive, we saw more whales on our trip back to the dock. Well worth the time and money.

This was a very good adventure. The captain was excellent, we were able to see many fish, sharks, a big turtle, and some reefs. My wife and I had a great time. If you visit Maul, put this on your bucket list. Location was easy to access, parking was available (paid) and the staff were extremely informative. One word of warning, if you are over 6 feet tall, you may have some issues with seating. The value was great - you'll enjoy!
