Overview

All riders must be 36 inches or taller to participate/ride submarine.

Dive 100 feet below the surface and experience Maui’s marine treasures off beautiful Lahaina with Atlantis Submarines Maui. A special added bonus of this tour experience is seeing the spectacular West Maui Mountains while riding our shuttle boat to the Maui dive site.

Stingray, yellow tang, eel, parrotfish, bluefin trevally, and an array of other marine species are seen regularly at the dive site. See firsthand how the Carthaginian, a sunken 19th century whaling brig, has combined with Mother Nature to create a fascinating artificial reef to attract and support marine life of all sizes, shapes and colors.

Our air-conditioned, comfortable submarine interiors offer large viewing ports, which allow guests to relax and enjoy the amazing wonders of the deep. Passengers must be capable of ascending and descending a near vertical ladder on their own to board the submarine
Total tour time is approximately 1 hour 50 minutes. Actual underwater tour time is 45 minutes
Children must be 36 inches or taller to ride the submarine
Infants are not permitted on the submarine.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

I was very hesitant about this trip. A lot of money and I’m afraid of water. It was fantastic! I will do this submarine trip every time I return to Maui. The staff was incredible. The experience was phenomenal. Just book it, you won’t be sorry.

This was an awesome experience - you take a lovely, short boat ride out to the submarine. We saw sharks, eagle spotted rays, tons and tons of tropical fish (a lot of fish were right up against our portholes), and a ship wreck! It was awesome and a very unique experience to be on a submarine. I did not feel claustrophobic nor did I feel any underwater pressure - you get your own little viewing spot and the captain makes sure that everyone sees as much as possible. All of the staff were extremely nice and fun. I highly recommend.

This tour was really well done! I loved the submarine. I loved the fish. I'm not into snorkeling and scuba diving. This is my chance to enjoy the dish and underwater experience too and I loved it.
