Overview

All riders must be 36 inches or taller to participate/ride submarine.

Dive 100 feet below the surface and experience Maui’s marine treasures off beautiful Lahaina with Atlantis Submarines Maui. A special added bonus of this tour experience is seeing the spectacular West Maui Mountains while riding our shuttle boat to the Maui dive site.

Stingray, yellow tang, eel, parrotfish, bluefin trevally, and an array of other marine species are seen regularly at the dive site. See firsthand how the Carthaginian, a sunken 19th century whaling brig, has combined with Mother Nature to create a fascinating artificial reef to attract and support marine life of all sizes, shapes and colors.

Our air-conditioned, comfortable submarine interiors offer large viewing ports, which allow guests to relax and enjoy the amazing wonders of the deep. Passengers must be capable of ascending and descending a near vertical ladder on their own to board the submarine
Total tour time is approximately 1 hour 50 minutes. Actual underwater tour time is 45 minutes
Children must be 36 inches or taller to ride the submarine
Infants are not permitted on the submarine.

Wow - what fun we went down about 147 feet - so many colourful fish and the ship operator made it fun with many tunes eg jaws etc - loved going around sunken vessel - sting rays and sharks were huge - so man fish came up and looked in my window - a must do if you can

We were very lucky there were only five of us on the tour. It was great. Our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Because they were so few of us we were given a private tour one at a time of Capt. Ken's cockpit.. We saw a lot of fish, sharks and eagle rays! After us a group of 47 people were getting on board for the next shift. Even with a large group I'm sure everyone will feel this is a fantastic and worthwhile activity to do. We just lucked out.

15 min boat ride out to where the sub is stationed. They take you by a reef and a sunken ship. Lots of fish and some sharks. Very professional company. Entertaining patter from the staff all the way.
