Overview

All riders must be 36 inches or taller to participate/ride submarine.

Dive 100 feet below the surface and experience Maui’s marine treasures off beautiful Lahaina with Atlantis Submarines Maui. A special added bonus of this tour experience is seeing the spectacular West Maui Mountains while riding our shuttle boat to the Maui dive site.

Stingray, yellow tang, eel, parrotfish, bluefin trevally, and an array of other marine species are seen regularly at the dive site. See firsthand how the Carthaginian, a sunken 19th century whaling brig, has combined with Mother Nature to create a fascinating artificial reef to attract and support marine life of all sizes, shapes and colors.

Our air-conditioned, comfortable submarine interiors offer large viewing ports, which allow guests to relax and enjoy the amazing wonders of the deep. Passengers must be capable of ascending and descending a near vertical ladder on their own to board the submarine
Total tour time is approximately 1 hour 50 minutes. Actual underwater tour time is 45 minutes
Children must be 36 inches or taller to ride the submarine
Infants are not permitted on the submarine.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

It’s a calm, safe and beautiful experience. All staff were professional and knowledgeable. Parking can be hectic please consider one of the paid parking lots.

At first we thought this would be a glass bottom boat. WRONG ! This is a real submarine, took us down about 100 ft to the ocean floor. We saw sharks, sting rays, many Nemo like fish, and even a shipwreck. The vessel is roomy and well air conditioned. The guide was very knowledgeable and professional and we felt very safe the entire time. Plus we saw several whales above the surface on the boat ride out to the submarine. Highly recommend.
