It was fun! He was very knowledgeable and his dog was very cute! You learn a lot of history and see Maui in a different way! Very cool!

Kim seemed very unprofessional from the moment the "tour" started. She had a terrible time staying focused and her narrative was erratic and repetitive. In addition, she kept walking away to "get her head together" and taking a swig out of an aluminum can. We knew in advance that it was more of a history tour than a ghost tour. That is why we went. She was talking about Moku’ula, a sacred Hawaiian site that once contained a 17 acre pool and an island. It has, unfortunately, been filled in and development is further threatening the site. I asked a question about the water source for Moku’ula . Her answer was dismissive and she suddenly seemed angry. I asked her another question about Captain Cook's death and she suddenly said that she was couldn't continue the tour. It took me a minute to realize that she was agitated and upset at me! She then stormed off in a hateful rant. I've never seen anything quite like it. I'd stay away unless you just want to burn cash.

Hi, this is the owner. I talked with the guide and the other guests to see what happened. Kim has done hundreds of tours for all kinds of guests but this is the first time she decided to cancel the tour because of guest behavior. The other guests concurred. Everyone has been refunded (including you) and we ran again the next night without incident.

Fun guide with interesting history lessons. Our guide talked fast and had a few catchphrases she liked to use. She definitely is passionate about Hawaiian history and won't provide the sanitized version you may hear from other guides. Provides a good base if you're interested in learning how Hawaii went from independent monarchs to the 50th US state
