Most fun with we had in Maui! Butch and Kimo were outstanding guides and were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Absolutely beautiful scenery and numerous photo ops. Horseback riding at Mendes Ranch should definitely be on your to do list when visiting Maui!

The horse riding was wonderful. A lovely trail and very well taken care of horses. We were told to be there at 11:15 and event would start at 11:30 but we had booked lunch with the ride and I had no idea that we would have to eat before the ride. The person preparing lunch was miffed as she was not told we were there so she put the food out in a rush but I have no idea why. We were the only ones eating and everyone was just hanging around waiting for us so we gulped the unmemorable lunch down and went back then we waited some more for another hour just hanging around while two other later comers ate then more waiting while everyone was fitted with a horse and given a bit of riding instruction which was good. Then we were off and had a lovely ride with incredible views of land and ocean. Enjoyed it despite the disorganization. Next time I would not book it with the lunch. Who wants to eat at 11:30 and then ride? Do a morning ride the go somewhere to eat.

Breathtaking views! Guides were patient with first time riders. The galloping was cool. The best horseback ride in of the four islands.
