Gilligans' Island Luau is an intimate luau experience and is the only luau in Kihei on Maui.

Our luau is less than one quarter the size of the average luau in Hawaii. So, every seat is a great view of the show.

The show is a mesmerizing journey through various types of Polynesian culture presented in a fun and engaging format. Through storytelling, audience participation and remarkable performances, we present an experience unavailable anywhere else.

Maui Luau: Gilligans' Island Luau in Kihei

Experience an Authentic Polynesian Luau in Kihei on the Island of Maui. Come see the traditional Polynesian evolution of Hawaiian, New Zealand, Tahitian Hula Dancers with a Samoan Fire Dancer finale. Show includes Hawaiian Musicians & Drummer and more! In an intimate setting with less than 1/3rd the capacity of most luaus, come have a great time experiencing the culture outside of a resort environment. Includes an open bar with tropical well drinks, red or white house wine, beer and all non-alcoholic beverage. Enjoy a full Hawaiian all you can eat buffet with Hawaiian Kalua Pork, Teriyaki Chicken, Panko-crusted Mahi Mahi with Lemon dill cream sauce, Hummus with vegetable crudites, Lomi Lomi Salmon, Mixed Vegetables, Mac Salad, Poi, White Rice, Molokai Sweet Potato, Green Salad w/Pineapple Vinaigrette dressing and Hawaiian Sweet Rolls with honey butter. For dessert, try Fresh Pineapple cubes, Chocolate Haupia Pie, White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies, and Lilikoi Bars.

A more personal ended Luau than others I have attended previously. Excellent audience engagement and servers are exceptional.

Terrible experience, food was so so, but the servers & entertainers were wonderful. The manager who we were told was Renee had a bad attitude and talked down to people throughout the evening. Bar patrons who did not pay for the luau sitting 5 feet away at the bar enjoyed the show while having a beer and didn’t have to pay anything? I have video backing my negative rating on this Lousy Luau. Don’t get ripped off. You would do better eating at home and watching reruns of Gilligan’s Island tv show.

So sorry to hear you didnt enjoy your luau experience with us. Yes, the restaurant is still open during the luau but the guests are inside the building and have a very obstructed view and no speakers for the music or emcee. They also do not have access to the luau buffet so while they may catch glimpses of the show, they definitely don't have anywhere near the full experience. We are unable to find your booking in our system so unfortunately I am not able to speak with the staff to see what exactly happened during your visit.
